Well done to all 905 runners out of 1,066 entrants, who finished the New Ireland Rathfarnham 5k Run on Sunday 27th September, on a calm sunny morning in Rathfarnham and Terenure. Well done to John Travers who took the race by the scruff of the neck and ran out an easy winner in 14.21. Next came Brendan Hargreaves 14.37 and 3rd Brian Maher KCH 14.51. In the Ladies race Teresa Doherty was 1st in 16.27, Orla Drumm, Crusaders AC 2nd. in 16.34 and Caroline Crowley Crusaders AC 3rd in 16.43. In the men’s team event Donore AC were first, Rathfarnham WSAF AC second and Waterford AC third. In the ladies team event Crusaders AC were first, Donore Harriers second and DSD third. Well done to all who ran.
