Well done to all 1,113 finishers in the New Ireland Rathfarnham 5k on Sunday 28th September 2014. We had 10 finishers under 15 mins, 33 under 16 mins, 63 under 17 mins, 193 under 20 mins, 479 under 25 mins and 798 under 30 mins. This was a great performance by all and many PBs were set. Congrats to the race winner David McCarthy, West Waterford AC in a fast time of 14.13, Martin Fagan, Mullingar second in 14.21 and Connor Dooney, Raheny Shamrocks third in 14.22. In the ladies race Sara Treacy Dunboyne AC was first in 16.15, Orla Drumm Crusaders AC second in 16.21 and Teresa Doherty Finn Valley AC third in 17.18. In the men’s team event St. Abban’s AC was first, Crusaders AC second and Rathfarnham WSAF AC third. In the ladies team event Dunboyne AC was first, Crusaders AC second and Donore Harriers third.
